About The Position
The Diabetes Nurse Educator at United Health Services is responsible for developing and providing educational programs for patients with diabetes, both in outpatient and inpatient settings. This role focuses on health promotion, disease management, and evaluating educational outcomes while collaborating with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care. The educator also plays a key role in promoting diabetes awareness within the community and maintaining the credentialing of the UHS Diabetes and Endocrinology Center with the American Diabetes Association.
