About The Position

The Manager, Diabetes Management and Education Division is responsible for leading and overseeing the diabetes management and education division, ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence and regulatory compliance. This role will focus on managing the division’s clinical certification process through the American Diabetes Association (ADA) and supervising the Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (CDCESs). The manager will be instrumental in advancing the division’s mission to provide comprehensive diabetes care and education, promoting best practices, and driving continuous improvement. Essential Functions Direct and coordinate all activities related to the division’s ADA clinical certification, including preparation, documentation, submission, and ongoing compliance. Lead, supervise, and develop a team of Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (CDCESs), ensuring effective delivery of diabetes education and support services. Collaborate with clinical staff, administration, and external partners to maintain and enhance certification standards and patient care quality. Monitor regulatory updates and ADA guidelines, ensuring all practices are current and compliant. Design and implement quality improvement initiatives to optimize diabetes management outcomes. Grow our diabetes footprint to include group classes and community outreach efforts.

  • Advanced degree or professional license (RN, RD, or similar) and/or CDCES certification.
