Requirements

  • Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws
  • Strong English, written and oral, communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational/time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Ability to read and understand pressure gauge/knowing when something is under pressure
  • Use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Basic understanding of inlet/outlet and parts associated with a DI tank system
  • Ability to memorize color combination on DI tanks/understand tank colors
  • Familiarity with PVC parts for a DI tank QC light/pressure relief valve
  • Ability to effectively communicate and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external partners while demonstrating tact, diplomacy and calmness in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization
  • Maintain a positive, friendly, supportive attitude and professional image at all times
  • Ability to work independently and within a team to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

Responsibilities

  • Safely make deliveries and pick-ups to and from customers and vendors in a timely manner.
  • Deliver DI tanks (8"– Flomax), with Class B drivers typically handling higher delivery volumes.
  • Operate vehicles and equipment such as trucks, forklifts, and dollies.
  • Load, unload, and hookup/service equipment at customer sites as needed.
  • Transport multiple DI tanks, maneuvering, pulling, and pushing units weighing up to 325 lbs.
  • Use a dolly to move tanks over uneven terrain, curbs, ramps, and through properties, including inside buildings, hallways, and freight elevators.
  • Deliver to diverse locations, including marinas and boat docks, occasionally over long distances or ramps.
  • At times, complete large-volume tank exchanges or deliveries without support.
  • Maintain travel logs, vehicle inspections, and ensure delivery vehicles are properly stocked with hoses, PVC parts, and tools.
  • Keep yard and warehouse areas organized and fully stocked.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve client concerns professionally.
  • Follow all company and customer safety requirements and report any mechanical or safety issues promptly.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments to meet shared goals.
  • Continue education on purification equipment and theory.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
