About The Position

Grey Street Consulting, LLC (Grey Street), a leading small business provider of Acquisition operational support services to Federal civilian and defense agencies, is seeking to hire a Data Analyst to support our prospective client within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ). This position is to be performed on-site in SW Washington, DC.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree: A 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor’s degree conferred or approved by an accredited U.S. college or university based on a 4- year course of study. Simply being enrolled and working toward a degree does not meet the qualification standard. Proposed candidates must furnish transcripts showing completion of degree requirements to the Government for review.
  • At least four (4) years of documented experience in Data Management or Data Analyst positions. For each position, the Contractor shall provide the Government with the proposed candidate’s resume for review and approval. Qualifications must prove that the proposed individual has the required experience in providing data analyst support to a Federal Government agency or entity. An acceptable example of support does not include general data entry.
  • Demonstrated ability to use the Microsoft Suite of software applications to create and maintain documents and communications.
  • Documented ability to maintain and practice operational security (OPSEC) in the performance of daily duties and to report OPSEC issues or concerns.
  • Documented experience crafting and running Microsoft Excel scripts and codes to double-check the accuracy of information and work products to provide consistently accurate and high-quality work.
  • Demonstrated experience managing various data formats such as those created and maintained in Microsoft Office products.
  • Documented ability to apply different strategies for acquiring data and analyzing information to make reasonable inferences or draw well-supported conclusions.
  • Experience using available tools and techniques to creatively solve problems or manage large data sets.
  • Experience being thorough and precise when accomplishing a task with concern for all aspects of the job involved.
  • Documented ability to develop and administer tracking mechanisms, user tools, and worksheets as necessary to track productivity, ensure mandates are followed, meet deadlines, respond to data calls, and accomplish other requirements as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks and provide updates on tasks to various levels of leadership in a timely fashion.
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills plus strong analytical and organizational skills and abilities
  • In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, the Government will accept six (6) years of experience in the data management sector.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing procurement sensitive, law enforcement sensitive, or other secure information is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving, gathering, analyzing, and organizing information from multiple sources to evaluate quality and completeness and resolves inconsistencies.
  • Recording data in databases, documents, and/or spreadsheets.
  • Developing and administering tracking mechanisms, user tools, and spreadsheets/worksheets to track productivity, ensure mandates are followed, meet contractual deadlines, respond to data calls, and accomplish other requirements as needed.
  • Generating, monitoring, and managing reports to measure and chart data (including procurement requests/requisitions, contracts, etc.) or otherwise manage simple or multifaceted taskings, etc.
  • Updating and maintaining backups of generate reports and datasets.
  • Simultaneously managing multiple tasks.
  • Consistently reviewing data then communicating and providing necessary reminders to staff and leadership to ensure that updates and related required activities are completed.
  • Creating and managing mail groups in programs such as Outlook.
  • Researching, identifying, tracking, and uploading active contracts and solicitations.
  • Granting and removing access to channels and files in programs such as Teams.
  • Coordinating file management with the FOIA team.
  • Assisting with all data related administrative duties.
  • Support services include, but are not limited to, developing user material, job aids, or procedural documentation to assist the Government in understanding and using tracking tools and managed data. The Contractor may provide demonstrations of system functionality at the Government’s request but shall not provide training, operational direction, or authoritative guidance to Government personnel.
  • Managing organization charts, team calendars, and other similar tools and providing guidance on these items.
  • Creating, managing, and monitoring new worksheets.
  • Generating summaries, charts, and reports.
  • Providing updates on tasks to leadership in a timely fashion.
  • Selecting relevant information from a variety of sources to prepare documents, reports, summaries, and replies to inquiries, ensuring accuracy and proper format of the information provided.
  • Participating in IPTs, as appropriate.
