About The Position

2026 ESY Deaf/Hard-Of-Hearing Teacher SECONDARY Location: Wakefield HS July 6, 2026 through July 31, 2026 Qualifications: Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure. Special Education certification. Knowledgeable in Sign Language. Knowledgeable in Assistive Technology for Students with Hearing Impairments (i.e., FM Systems). Experience: Teaching students. Teaching deaf and hard of hearing students. Responsibilities Include: Work with hearing impaired students. Work effectively as a team member with colleagues. Be flexible, dependable, and highly organized. Excellent interpersonal skills.
