About The Position

We are seeking a Full Time DEXA Technologist for our Casa Verde site in Green Valley, Monday - Friday. Work Schedule: Hours for this position are Monday - Friday 8 AM to 5 PM. Radiology Ltd. is a partner company of U.S. Radiology Specialists and is the premier provider of diagnostic and interventional radiology services in Southern Arizona since 1933. Our company’s subspecialized, fellowship-trained experts in body imaging, breast imaging, interventional radiology, molecular imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, neuroradiology, and pediatric radiology utilize advanced technology to deliver high-quality expedient interpretations. Our radiologists are leaders in the medical community, participating and serving in leadership roles in local hospitals and regional medical societies.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
  • Current Arizona State Licensure.
  • Customer service oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sensitive to the needs of patients.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Ability to follow the instructions of the Radiologist.
  • View images and capable of adjusting parameters to achieve high quality diagnostic imaging.
  • Ability to maneuver equipment.
  • Ability to prepare patients for procedures including moving patients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent patient care in a timely manner, communicate with radiologists and work efficiently with team members.
  • Responsible for performing precise, prompt and high quality bone density examinations.
  • Selects appropriate imaging techniques and operates console and peripheral hardware, enters and monitors patient data.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks and works under general supervision.
