About The Position

As a DevSecOps SW Engineer for Assembly Test Launch Operations (ATLO) Test Labs and Services (ATLS), you will perform a variety of activities in these following areas: Leverage the latest DevSecOps tools and methodologies to deliver value to our customers quickly, efficiently, and repeatedly Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code for consistent and repeatable environment deployment Establish & refine DevSecOps processes for the ATLS software organization by partnering with the LM Space Software Factory team Identify and remediate cyber security vulnerabilities Support agile development teams by developing and maintaining tools, pipelines, scripts, and environments. Maintain organization's developed software and commercial off the shelf (COTS) software tool configuration control library such as tracking, identification, licensing, etc.

Requirements

  • Experience with at least one modern programming language: (Examples - LabView, C/C++, Python, Groovy)
  • Familiarity with modern software development concepts such as CI/CD, Micro-Service Oriented Architectures, Containerization, Infrastructure as Code, Agile Development
  • Experience with enterprise version control tooling

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a software engineering or equivalent technical discipline
  • Experience with automated build, test, continuous delivery and deployment
  • Experience integrating tools (i.e. Jira with Gitlab)
  • Experience with Labview software development
  • Experience with Python software development
  • Current Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Security+ certification
  • Experience provisioning and managing cloud resources
  • Experience with cloud agnostic infrastructure as code and configuration as code technologies
  • Security as code background
  • Experience with cloud native technologies and standards around container orchestration, package management, admission control, logging and monitoring, service mesh and traffic observability
  • Familiarity with test driven development
  • Experience contributing to opensource
  • Familiarity with Government DevSecOps initiatives
  • Demonstrated growth mindset
  • Active United States Government Security clearance
  • RESTful development experience
