GDIT is seeking a highly motivated DevSecOps Engineer to join their growing team to develop, support, and modernize mission-critical applications for the DHS customer. This role involves supporting project teams in configuring and base-lining software using automated tools for development, deployment, and maintenance of mission-critical applications. The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing configuration documentation and recommending improvements to existing Configuration Management (CM) processes. The position is part of the Mission Systems Lifecycle Support (MSLS) contract for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Biometric Identity Management (OBIM), where GDIT performs software development and application enhancements using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Kanban, and DevSecOps processes. The engineer will join a SAFe Agile Release Train (ART) utilizing a CI/CD pipeline to support national security, law enforcement, immigration and border management, intelligence, background investigations, and associated testing, training, management reporting, planning and analysis related to biometric and biographic information.
