About The Position

As a DevSecOps Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring our software is delivered securely, reliably, and efficiently. You streamline processes, implement best practices, and support scalable, high-performing systems across the organization, working closely with a collaborative, global team to drive continuous improvement in software delivery.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in DevSecOps or a related field.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or similar.
  • Experience automating infrastructure provisioning in a public cloud, using tools like Terraform.
  • Proven ability in building and optimizing CI/CD workflows, preferably with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Extensive experience in engaging developers and product teams in the planning and execution of projects.
  • Proven track record in building strong relationships with developers, development managers, and tech leads.

Responsibilities

  • Actively manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, with an emphasis on integrating security measures and automated testing.
  • Enhance the scalability and reliability of containerized environments, leveraging your growing expertise in Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Develop and refine programming/scripting skills in languages such as PowerShell and Bash, applying automation to streamline operations.
  • Utilize IaC tools like Terraform with a focus on best practices and security considerations.
  • Take a proactive role in ensuring the operational stability of software in production, including developing monitoring solutions and refining alerting mechanisms.
  • Enhance documentation, project specifications, and business cases with clear, concise communication.
  • Liaise with global stakeholders and build strong relationships with other cloud infrastructure and DevOps teams in Australia and the UK.
