About The Position

At Talentus Global, we are looking for you! We are a U.S. company with a strong presence in LATAM and across 20+ countries around the world. Some of our key near-shore BPO services include: smart-sourcing, dedicated or cluster teams, managed IT services, software outsourcing, and top ERP & CRM solutions—driven by our practices across many industries, including Higher Education. We are currently looking for a DevSecOps Engineer, to become a valuable addition to our dynamic team!

Requirements

  • 3–6+ years of experience in DevOps, cybersecurity, or DevSecOps roles.
  • Strong understanding of application security principles and secure SDLC practices.
  • Experience with security testing tools ( SAST, DAST, SCA tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, or OWASP ZAP).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
  • Familiarity with cloud security in platforms such as OCI, AWS, or Azure.
  • Knowledge of container security and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with identity and access management (IAM), secrets management, and encryption techniques.
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks ( ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2) is required.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
  • Certifications in CISSP, CEH, GIAC, CKS, CKA, Docker and Terraform (some required).
  • AWS Certified Security or Azure Security Engineer or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer required.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency skills (C1) required.
  • Must have experience working for US clients

Responsibilities

  • Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure software delivery.
  • Design and implement automated security controls across development, build, and deployment processes.
  • Perform security assessments, including static (SAST), dynamic (DAST), and dependency vulnerability scanning.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
  • Implement and manage secrets management, identity and access controls, and encryption mechanisms.
  • Monitor systems for security threats and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and support threat modeling activities.
  • Promote secure coding practices and provide guidance to development teams.
  • Maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and audit reports.
