Great Hill is seeking an Engineer I in Orlando, FL. Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: The Engineer I Subject Matter Expert (SME) provides entry-level to intermediate technical support for DevSecOps activities on software-centric Agile programs or projects. This position supports the development, integration, and sustainment of secure, scalable software solutions within a distributed and mission-focused operational environment. The Engineer I SME works under the guidance of senior engineers and program leadership to implement Agile and DevSecOps practices that enable rapid capability delivery in support of evolving operational requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting DevSecOps activities on software-centric Agile programs or projects
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines
  • Basic understanding of secure software development practices

Responsibilities

  • Support DevSecOps engineering activities for software-intensive systems under the direction of senior technical staff
  • Assist with the implementation and execution of Agile development processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative delivery
  • Support integration, testing, and deployment activities within CI/CD pipelines
  • Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues related to software performance, security, and interoperability
  • Contribute to system documentation, technical artifacts, and configuration management activities
  • Collaborate with government personnel, contractors, and mission partners to support program objectives
  • Support secure development practices aligned with applicable DoD and program security requirement
