We are seeking a highly experienced DevOps professional with over 10 years of hands-on expertise in automation, cloud infrastructure within an IoT environment, and CI/CD pipeline management. As a technical DevOps leader, you have a proven track record of delivering secure, reliable, and scalable solutions in dynamic SaaS environments, skillfully balancing hands-on responsibilities with team mentorship to foster growth and innovation.

Requirements

  • 8–10 years in DevOps, with extensive hands-on experience in automation, cloud operations, and CI/CD pipeline management.
  • Cloud Platforms: AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation, IAM, AWS IoT Core,etc.)
  • Automation & Infrastructure as Code: Python, Bash, Terraform, CloudFormation
  • CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions
  • Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, ECR
  • Monitoring & Logging: DataDog, CloudWatch
  • Security: Secure architecture design, Least Privilege, Zero Trust approach, IAM-Access management, vulnerability assessment, compliance standards, experience with tools like GitLeak, Mend.io, Wiz.io, Orca, CloudTrail, Macie, Security HUB, GuardDuty, Inspector
  • Project Management: Jira for project and issue tracking, confluence document management
  • Programing and Scripting: programing background (Java), strong scripting skills
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide DevOps engineers and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Automation Code Development and Maintenance Design, implement, and maintain automation scripts and frameworks to optimize deployment, monitoring, and operational processes. Ensure code quality, security, and scalability by following industry best practices in software engineering and automation.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Management Architect, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Bitbucket for continuous integration and delivery. Integrate automated testing and deployment to enable rapid and reliable releases.
  • Cloud Infrastructure & AWS Lambda Administration Deploy and support AWS Lambda functions, enabling event-driven automation and microservices within the AWS environment. Oversee configuration, monitoring, and optimization of AWS resources to ensure high availability, performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Security & Compliance Implement and enforce security best practices for cloud infrastructure, automation code, and deployment pipelines. Conduct vulnerability assessments, manage access controls, and ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
  • Project & Issue Tracking Utilize Jira for project management, issue tracking, and workflow automation. Coordinate with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Operational Excellence Monitor system health, identify areas for improvement, and implement proactive measures to ensure platform reliability. Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
  • Team Support & Leadership Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of 3 DevOps engineers, assisting with cloud architecture, deployment strategies, security practices, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure solutions with business requirements.
