We’re looking for an experienced back-end developer with the software engineering skills it takes to identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and create efficient and effective systems for our clients. Using your software engineering experience, you’ll work with the development team to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability. Requirements
- 6+ years of experience with Software Engineering or DevOps
- Experience writing scripts using Bash and Python
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and automation tools, including Puppet, SaltStack, and Ansible
- Experience with troubleshooting large UNIX Clusters and UNIX command line
- Experience using system monitoring tools, including Prometheus and Grafana
- Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker
- Experience with container orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes
- Knowledge of compute, network, memory, and storage system components
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor's degree
Nice To Haves
- Experience developing test plans
- Experience researching, evaluating, and deploying technologies in a Kubernetes environment
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite, including JIRA or Confluence
- Experience using Git for version control
- Experience using GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and applications
