The Role We are seeking a motivated student pursuing a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or a related field for a hands-on summer internship focused on cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and AI model deployment. This remote role (HQ: Chicago, IL) provides extensive experience in automating DevOps and DevSecOps activities in a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or a related field, have strong fundamentals and basic cloud computing knowledge (AWS preferred), and be proficient in Java and Python.
- A keen interest in DevOps and cloud automation, along with an eagerness to learn, problem-solve, and collaborate, and excellent communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Gain hands-on experience managing AWS cloud infrastructure and automating DevOps and security tasks.
- Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Copilot, deploy AI models on AWS and Azure, implement infrastructure-as-code best practices, and leverage automation to enhance operations and security.
- Build and optimize AWS infrastructure using IaC
- Develop CI/CD pipelines and automated workflows for building, testing, and deployment with GitHub Actions and modern DevOps tools.
- Implement continuous DevSecOps practices with Veracode and Wiz security scans.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud applications via automated anomaly detection.
