About The Position

14326 - DevOps Environment Lead (onsite) – Austin, TX Start Date: ASAP Type: Temporary Project Estimated Duration: 7 months with possible extensions Work Setting: Hybrid. remote with 3 days (Mon & Wed) required to be onsite Required: Experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC) (8+ years); Experience in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline) (8+ years) Experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation) (8+ years) Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) (8+ years) Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK stack) (8+ years) Experience with Linux administration, scripting (Python, Bash), and version control (Git) (8+ years) Preferred: Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) (8+ years) Experience with performance tuning and high-availability strategies (8+ years) Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven workflows (8+ years) Responsibilities: Design and implement cloud-native architectures and solutions on AWS to support scalable, secure application delivery; Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, test, and deployment processes; Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation to provision and manage AWS resources; Implement and operate container-based platforms using Docker and Kubernetes, including orchestration and scaling; Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to ensure system reliability and performance; Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to optimize workflows, enforce DevOps best practices, and drive automation initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve scalability. Implement security best practices across AWS environments, including IAM governance, network segmentation, encryption, and compliance‑aligned configurations to ensure secure cloud operations.

Requirements

  • Experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC) (8+ years)
