DevOps Environment Lead (onsite)
About The Position
14326 - DevOps Environment Lead (onsite) – Austin, TX Start Date: ASAP Type: Temporary Project Estimated Duration: 8 months with possible extensions Work Setting: Hybrid. Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Tuesdays and Fridays) required to be onsite at the client location in Austin, TX. Required: Experience analyzing and resolving complex issues (8 years); Experience Supporting and training end users on all levels (8 years); Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) models (8 years). Preferred: Experience with large development projects using Agile methodology (3 years). Responsibilities: Oversee planning, coordination, and timely delivery of environment setup and configuration while managing risks and issues; Coordinate software deployments and environment changes with development, DevOps, testing, operations, security, and business stakeholders; Lead complex troubleshooting efforts across integrated systems, complete root cause analysis, and drive process improvements; Oversee resolution of environment issues in dev/test, coordinating with technical teams and mentoring junior staff; Maintain and evolve the IT DevOps roadmap, participate in governance, and obtain senior management approval for updates; Provide Scrum Master support for DevSecOps teams, facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and promote self-organizing teams; Lead and manage staff by assigning work, resolving conflicts, mentoring team members, and delivering status and environment reports to senior management.
