Our Service Observability and Monitoring team is looking for a highly motivated and passionate Intern to join us and help boost our development and accelerate our deliver flow. As an added benefit, you will have a unique opportunity to expand your knowledge and network by being exposed to the Global financial community within SWIFT. Work closely with the team to learn and grow your skills in the areas of Agile development, problem solving, communication, and teamwork Participate in requirement analysis for development of new features, components, and enhancements to existing components working directly with customers Participate in development, code review, testing, and deployment activities Project Description: Join the Monitoring Engineering Team and work alongside experienced Senior DevOps Engineers to gain hands-on experience in building modern observability solutions. This internship offers an opportunity to learn, innovate, and contribute to critical projects that enhance service reliability and performance. What You’ll Work On Service Observability Tools: Assist in onboarding and integrating new tools for infrastructure, application, and network performance monitoring. API Development: Build and enhance APIs to connect monitoring tools with platforms such as AWS, virtualization environments, network, storage, and container technologies. Automation & CI/CD: Automate test cases and integrate them into Continuous Delivery and Release Orchestration (CDRO) pipelines. AIOps & Machine Learning: Apply advanced analytics for intelligent alerting, reporting, and automated remediation actions. What You’ll Gain Practical experience in DevOps, cloud technologies, and observability platforms. Exposure to automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-driven operations. Mentorship from senior engineers and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Final Deliverable At the end of the internship, you will present a proposal and solution demo to the Engineering and Leadership Team for evaluation.
