About The Position

PeopleTec is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location. Job Functions: Responsible for the design, deployment, testing, certification, operations, patching, addressing interoperability issues, of DevSecOps infrastructure tools, including all operating systems, support libraries, components, and application dependencies. Responsible for the primary Operations and Maintenance workforce multiple tools. Deploys and configures services using infrastructure as a service provider. Configures and manages Linux-based servers to serve a dynamic website. Debugs cluster-based computing architectures. Uses scripting or basic programming skills to solve problems. Installs and manages open-source monitoring tools.

Requirements

• Mid: 5 years of experience
• Splunk Experience
• Experience with Linux based environment administration
• Experience testing, implementing, deploying, maintaining, and administering infrastructure hardware and software for cybersecurity.
• Experience developing, creating, modifying, and maintaining computer applications, software, or specialized utility programs for cybersecurity.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required to perform this work.
• Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.
• BS or B.A. Degree

• Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA)
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Associate
• Experience integrating third-party components, the introduction of new custom capabilities, modification of existing code, process improvement recommendation, and automation of operations and maintenance tasks
• Experience with Splunk, Oracle/SQL based platforms, and python
