About The Position

gWorks is currently looking for a full\-time DevOps Engineer. This job requires strong analytical and technical abilities and demands fast, but carefully thought\-out results. A strong mix of IT infrastructure knowledge and good coding practices is required. The job centers around developing new ideas, systems and technology, and also analyzing and improving on old ones. A high level of expertise is expected and the ability to spot and correct errors is important. Work must be done right and quickly, while always focusing on accomplishing the goal and demanding the highest quality work. The broad scope of the job demands a factual and direct style of communication.

Requirements

• 4\-year bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
• 2 years of experience managing virtualization technology (VMware, Hyper\-V, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• 2 years of scripting manual tasks
• Batch, PowerShell, python, build tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo, etc.)
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
• Drive to improve existing infrastructure and workflows

Responsibilities

• Maintaining employee hardware (5%)
• Helping employees troubleshoot IT issues (5%)
• Automating manual tasks (30%)
• Maintaining, optimizing and updating virtual environment (15%)
• Migrating on\-premise infrastructure to public cloud (30%)
