Note: United States Citizenship is required. As a DevOps Engineer, a typical day might include: Designing, implementing, securing, and supporting cloud native and on-prem infrastructure. Automating infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and performing capacity planning. Collaborating with developers in IS and R&D to support SEL’s mission of making electric power safer, more reliable, and more economical. Identifying and mitigating risks in deployment and operational environments. Creating and maintaining clear, thorough documentation for systems and processes. Managing and executing infrastructure-related projects. This job might be for you if you: Have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Have 2+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or a related technical role. Are proficient with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git, and Terraform or similar. Have experience automating infrastructure and configuration management. Embrace dynamic, fast-paced environments and adapt well to rapid change.
