Job summary We are seeking a DevOps Engineer who will play a role in updating the state of our infrastructure, automation, and operational excellence. This role requires a understanding of systems, networking, monitoring, and security, with a strong bias toward automation, reliability and scale.

Requirements

Strong Linux systems administration background with a deep understanding of how Linux interacts with hardware (CPU, memory, disk, networking).
Experience in scripting and automation using Ansible, Bash, Python, Packer, and Terraform.
Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, IAM, VPC, etc.)
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and CI/CD concepts.
Experience with datacenter operations including racking, stacking, and remote system management.
Experience with managing and configuration of systems at scale with zero-touch provisioning approaches.
Experience managing monitoring systems and developing custom dashboards for observability.
Experience with networking within a linux environment (Router -> Switch -> Server -> Virtualization -> Linux -> Service) ; BGP and DNS experience is a plus.
Experience with DevOps principles, Agile methodologies, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Technical knowledge using: Ansible, Python, Packer, AWS (EC2, IAM, VPC, etc), Linux.

Utilize best practices in release management, incident management, capacity planning, and operational readiness.
Proactively identify opportunities to increase system resiliency.
Participate in on-call rotation, demonstrating strong customer empathy and responsiveness to incidents.
Own and improve standard operating procedures and system documentation.
