About The Position

Visionist has an exciting new, fully FUNDED opportunity for a DevOps Engineer on our PRIME contract. You will be joining an exciting mission centered around providing visualization and presentation services for the prototyping, development, and production of analytic tools. The team focuses on producing data platforms and processing systems through building, deploying, and sustaining user-facing tools that support tactical users. You will have the opportunity to telework up to 2 days per week. If you like this type of work environment, then this is the place for you! We embed small engineering teams with analysts to rapidly identify and solve mission capability gaps playing a critical role in defending our nation’s cyber infrastructure & providing expertise in malware analysis, attribution, mapping adversarial infrastructure, pen testing, and operational planning. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
  • 20 years of experience in software engineering
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, and Helm
  • Experience with Git, Gitlab, and Gitlab runners
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Linux, and AWS tools and services

Responsibilities

  • Work with development and configuration management teams to implement CI/CD pipelines
  • Establish and maintain staging clusters to support integration and testing
  • Deploy and test software in controlled and production-like environments
  • Create and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform
  • Monitor system health, performance, and resource usage to ensure system reliability
  • Transfer software artifacts between systems while maintaining integrity and traceability
  • Develop and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation to support operations
