About The Position

The DevOps Engineer is responsible for administering and streamlining software development and IT operations by implementing automation, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD). This role collaborates with other IT groups (Security, Infrastructure, etc.) and Development to ensure application deployments, compliance with policy requirements and to provide troubleshooting support. The DevOps engineer ensures faster, more reliable software releases and system stability.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of networking and security principles.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server
  • Knowledge of ClickHouse
  • Experience with HIPAA, HITRUST, ISO 42001 ISO 27001, ISO 27002, URAC regulations and awareness and/or experience with CMS, NIST and other healthcare related regulations
  • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and related database deployments.
  • Manage and monitor cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of applications.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with Separation of Duties (SoD), AI and other related policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with IT Security staff to implement security best practices in deployment and infrastructure.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolution of issues in production and staging environments.
  • Optimize and monitor system performance and scalability.
