About The Position
Piper Companies is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a leading technology organization. The DevOps Engineer will play a critical role in designing and supporting secure, mission-critical systems in a hybrid cloud environment. The DevOps Engineer must be able to work in Raleigh, NC in a hybrid schedule.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong proficiency in Python, Ansible, Jenkins, AWS, Terraform, and Terragrunt
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline design and implementation
- Familiarity with hybrid environments (on-prem and cloud)
- Experience with container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
Responsibilities
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for on-prem and cloud environments
- Develop automation scripts using Python and configuration management tools like Ansible
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and Terragrunt
- Collaborate with security and operations teams to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Support hybrid environments with networking, virtualization, and container technologies
- Manage deployments and integrations using Jenkins and AWS services
Benefits
- $125,000-$130,000 annually
