About The Position

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on on-premises infrastructure to join our team. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across systems and networks. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with infrastructure management, networking, and security, and is comfortable working in complex on-prem environments.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)
Proven experience managing on-premises IT infrastructure
Strong experience with firewalls, network security, and port configurations
Hands-on experience with LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks
Experience with server administration and virtualization technologies
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Solid understanding of security protocols and best practices
Ability to work independently and within a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

Certifications such as: CCNA
CompTIA Network+
CISSP

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain on-premises IT infrastructure (servers, storage, and networking equipment)
Monitor system performance to ensure availability and reliability
Perform regular updates, patches, and system maintenance
Design, implement, and manage network configurations (LAN, WAN, VPN)
Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity and performance issues
Monitor and optimize network traffic and performance
Configure, manage, and monitor firewalls
Manage port configurations and secure internal/external communication
Implement and maintain security protocols and best practices
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control
Perform backups and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity
Maintain documentation for infrastructure, configurations, and processes
Collaborate with IT teams on ongoing projects and initiatives
Provide technical support to internal users and teams
Support planning and implementation of infrastructure upgrades
