About The Position

We are looking for a skilled DevOps / Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and application runtimes. You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure reliability, scalability, and security across our production systems. Experience with high-performance Node.js applications and cloud platforms like AWS is essential.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS
  • Solid understanding of Node.js runtime and backend architecture
  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration
  • Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform or CloudFormation)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
  • Strong Linux fundamentals

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with high-traffic or gaming platforms
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis
  • Knowledge of security hardening and compliance
  • Experience with monitoring stacks such as Datadog, Grafana, or ELK

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage AWS infrastructure using best practices
  • Maintain production-grade environments across staging and production
  • Work with services such as EC2, ECS, EKS, RDS, ElastiCache, S3, CloudFront, IAM, and VPC
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  • Automate deployments for Node.js applications
  • Implement blue-green or rolling deployments
  • Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Optimize Node.js application performance and scalability
  • Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting
  • Troubleshoot production incidents and improve system reliability
  • Build and manage Docker images
  • Work with Kubernetes or ECS for container orchestration
  • Improve container security and runtime performance
  • Implement security best practices across infrastructure
  • Manage secrets and environment variables securely
  • Improve system observability using CloudWatch, Prometheus, or similar tools
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness
