We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in Pega Upgrade Exposure. This role will support our migration and upgrade projects, streamline CI/CD workflows, and drive integration of modern DevOps tools within our evolving Pega ecosystem.

  • Automate and support deployments, upgrades, and migrations of the Pega platform.
  • Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps).
  • Integrate Nexus, Puppet, and Terraform Enterprise (TFE) for configuration, artifact, and infrastructure management in Pega environments.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and migration from Windows to Linux.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, ensuring reliability and operational visibility.
  • Implement infrastructure automation for upgrades/patching to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain and enhance security, compliance, and integration with authentication and authorization (TLS 1.2+, SSO, OAuth, etc.).
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and stay current with Pega and DevOps industry trends.
  • Work with middleware tools, including Oracle WebLogic, ESB, and SOA, to support integration, deployment, and configuration activities.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent plus 10 years of relevant work experience (8 years of additional experience may be substituted for education)
  • Federal workforce experience required.
  • Pega Admin Upgrade exposure experience
  • Proven experience administering and upgrading Pega platforms (Infinity 24.x preferred).
  • Proficiency with DevOps automation tools: Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps, Nexus, Puppet, Terraform Enterprise.
  • Solid understanding of containerization, Kubernetes, and Docker in enterprise environments.
  • Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
  • Experience with infrastructure automation, monitoring, and logging solutions.
  • Solid problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Expertise in middleware tools: Oracle WebLogic, ESB, and SOA.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Familiarity with major web servers (Tomcat, WebLogic), databases, and load balancers.
  • Exposure to hybrid or cloud-ready architectures and migrations.
