About The Position

Crossflow Technologies, Inc. is looking for a DevOps engineer who likes building cloud infrastructure that actually works, secure, scalable, and usable by real teams across real organizations. You'll be responsible for standing up and operating a cloud-only Azure environment, integrating GitLab CI/CD with a cloud-hosted Kubernetes cluster, and supporting distributed development across multiple sites and partner companies. If you care about clean pipelines, repeatable infrastructure, and not waking up to surprise outages, you'll fit in well.

Requirements

Strong DevOps / platform engineering background
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (cloud-native, not lift-and-shift)
Strong Kubernetes experience (deployment, operations, troubleshooting)
GitLab CI/CD pipeline design and implementation experience
Experience building and managing secure, multi-tenant environments
Solid understanding of networking, access control, and identity management
Infrastructure automation experience (Terraform, ARM/Bicep, or similar)
Strong Linux administration skills
Comfort working across distributed teams and organizations

Nice To Haves

Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Container build and runtime experience with Docker
Familiarity with zero-trust or defense-in-depth security models
Experience supporting partner or cross-company development environments
Exposure to compliance-driven environments (DoD, energy, regulated industries)

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and operate a cloud-only development environment on Microsoft Azure
Integrate GitLab CI/CD pipelines with a cloud-hosted Kubernetes (k8s) cluster
Build and maintain secure, scalable CI/CD workflows for multiple teams
Support multi-site, multi-company access to shared cloud infrastructure
Implement infrastructure-as-code and automation to minimize manual work
Partner closely with software engineers to improve build, test, and deployment flows
Balance speed with security in regulated and semi-regulated environments
