This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable. As a part of a small, cross-functional team responsible for mission operation IT and communications infrastructure, you'll be instrumental in developing infrastructure to power Blue Origin's mission systems. This is a hands-on position focused on creating IaC for critical IT systems directly supporting launch and space based systems. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, ambition, and highs standards to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required! As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will work on rewarding problems and interesting technologies. You will bring a software engineering approach to ensuring our systems are operational and scalable. You will implement the infrastructure that allows for rapid development and iteration of software throughout the company, including distributed systems and embedded software on-board our rockets and space vehicles. You will make decisions and implement systems that affect the capabilities of thousands of rocket scientists and engineers at Blue Origin and beyond.
