GDMS - Pittsburgh has openings for Dev-Ops Engineering Interns (2025) to join their team, applying classroom-learned skills to programs supporting the defense of the country. The position offers an opportunity to work on projects that support national defense services, collaborating with esteemed customers to develop solutions for high-stakes national security missions. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams on various technical projects associated with the core mission, responsible for the development of software and systems products in a UNIX, Linux and/or Windows-based workstation environment. Interns will enhance their skill set among talented colleagues and enjoy a flexible work environment where contributions are recognized and rewarded.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in an accredited degree program in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline
  • Preference for a standing of a sophomore or higher
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Java/J2EE
  • JavaScript
  • HTML
  • CSS
  • Comfortable working with Visual Studios and Eclipse IDEs
  • Experienced with various Server Frameworks
  • Experienced with DOM
  • Experienced with Java Web App Platform (Tomcat)
  • Adept with Microsoft Office - especially Excel, Power-Point, and Word
  • Comfortable working with Windows 7, 8, Mac OSX Mavericks (10.6+), and Linux
