About The Position

At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable. This role supports the software, systems, and controls infrastructure that powers Blue Origin's aerospace initiatives. As part of a hardworking team of specialists, engineers, and technicians, you will share in the team's impact on building and optimizing the automated platforms, hybrid cloud infrastructure, and DevOps tooling that enable our engineering teams to innovate at scale. You will collaborate closely with development teams across all of the Autonomous Ground and Flight Systems. Every day, you will innovate to build the frameworks, automation, and infrastructure needed to support our software engineering platforms and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines. For this specific role, your day-to-day activities will focus on designing and implementing DevOps solutions that improve team efficiency, managing cloud infrastructure, and supporting the automation frameworks that enable rapid software delivery. You will collaborate with development teams to understand their needs and build robust CI/CD pipelines, manage API deployments, and optimize infrastructure performance. As a member of the broader technical leadership, you will have input into architecture decisions, implement and optimize critical systems, and help ensure reliability and performance at scale. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and commitment to operational excellence to positively impact how our engineering teams deliver software. Passion for our mission and vision is required!
