Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all . Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever. Micron’s test engineering organization designs, develops, and delivers tester hardware and software to enable Micron’s industry leading memory and storage product portfolio! Software design and development within test engineering includes embedded software design, applications software, site reliability support, and test program development. As a DevOps architect you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and leading all aspects of a DevOps framework within test engineering. By embracing industry-standard, modern toolchains, processes, and software development technology we can empower a community of developers and enhance focus on test program content and outcomes for Micron’s technology and products. What’s Encouraged Daily: Advise software development strategy and roadmap for test engineering Ownership of software project approval process Drive organizational change initiatives around software toolchains, processes, and DevOps framework Approximately 50% of time will be on roadmap definition, execution, and project planning; 50% on individual contributor activities including technical pathfinding Design/Develop/Administer solutions with Docker / Kubernetes. Linux Administration using automation tools such as Ansible. Develop & Debug in Python, Go, C++ as well as other languages. Identify reliability and resiliency issues in sophisticated systems and work with developer teams to resolve them. Develop relationships with other engineering teams to define developer and system infrastructure roadmaps. Continuously look for opportunities for both personal, team, and platform improvement.
