Device Support Assistant
About The Position
Arctiq is growing, and we are looking for a Device Support Assistant . We are seeking a reliable and student-friendly individual to support the intake, distribution, and documentation of Chromebooks and related technology assets at the high school level. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys working with youth, is organized, and can follow simple processes in a fast-paced but supportive school environment. This Role is onsite daily: Monday-Friday 6 hours per day, 10-month contract (school year)
Requirements
- Comfortable interacting with high school–aged students in a respectful and approachable manner
- Strong attention to detail and basic data entry skills
- Ability to follow simple processes and instructions consistently
- Dependable, punctual, and organized
- Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, or inventory systems)
- No advanced technical experience required
Responsibilities
- Document and track the intake and distribution of Chromebooks and related equipment
- Assist with issuing and collecting devices from students
- Accurately record serial numbers, assignments, and returns
- Support basic inventory organization and labeling
- Communicate clearly and positively with students and staff
- Follow established procedures for device handling and documentation
- Report missing, damaged, or malfunctioning devices to the appropriate staff
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
