Job Description Packaging, labeling, and handling of product and movement to specified locations. Perform limited product visual and Manual inspections. Learn and maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of all products produced in the department, as well as all product quality specifications. Keep machinery, work area and floors neat and orderly and align with good manufacturing practices requirements. Must be able to work effectively in a team with limited supervision. Understand and interpret controlled documents including work Instructions, procedures, and inspection forms. Notify CILL, and DMT II’s of any equipment issues. Work with molding team members to keep equipment running during breaks and callouts. Align with all local BD quality policies, procedures, and practices through consistent application of sound quality assurance principles. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 6-12 months previous professional work experience (in a related or unrelated field) required, manufacturing experience a plus.
  • Prefer, but not limited to 0-1 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably injection molding presses (both electric & hydraulic).
  • Stand and/or occasionally sit for extended periods of time.
  • Bending, stooping and reaching.
  • Walking, kneeling, balancing, crouching, pushing/pulling, repetitive grasping, hearing, twisting, lifting, frequent use of hand to finger, handle, feel, pick or type which can include repetitive motion of the wrists, hands or fingers.
  • Lifting requirements: may occasionally be required to lift up to 20 lbs, frequently lift up to 10 lbs, occasionally pulling/pushing up to 30 lbs, frequently pushing/pulling up to 10 lbs, frequently carry up to 5 lbs.
  • Almost always have exposure to work near moving mechanical equipment, and potential temperature fluctuations.
