Position Summary: The Device Technician performs device interrogations and post hospital follow up visits on patients who have a cardiac resynchronization devices. This includes device evaluation, assisting with reprogramming, Paceart system data entry and reporting, charting documentation and generating billing information. In addition the Technician monitors patients on Teletrace and is responsible for accurate interpretation and documentation of cardiac rhythm and pacemaker rhythm strips. Responsible for clerical duties which include entering and updating Teletrace information and statistics in the computer and in the Paceart system. Orient nursing staff to the Teletrace clinic.

Requirements

  • Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer one year of patient care with strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms.
