About The Position

Position may include providing per diem aide support to various outpatient locations. JOB SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of a licensed care practitioner, provides and documents clinical care and associated tasks as assigned. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal care is provided in a quality environment to patients and families. Utilizes appropriate age and developmental approach in application of care.

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED or Foreign equivalent
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by American Heart Association
• Those staff assisting with the provision of direct Audiology and/or Speech Pathology services must be registered with the State of California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board within three months of hire date

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in OT/PT/Speech/Audiology
• 1 year of experience
• Pediatric experience in inpatient, outpatient or long-term care setting
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish
• Advanced knowledge of medical terminology; experience with data entry and clinical computer systems
