Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to learn and a genuine interest in supporting individuals with Autism
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism
  • Patience, compassion, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations
  • Services are provided in home-based or community settings
  • All positions start part-time
  • Encouraged to complete the 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training
  • Minimum 6-month commitment required

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one behavioral support services using evidence-based strategies
  • Implement individualized support and skill-building plans under clinical supervision
  • Encourage independence, positive behavior, and meaningful progress
  • Accurately record session data using electronic systems
  • Maintain a supportive, respectful, and structured environment
  • Collaborate with supervisors, families, and care teams to support treatment goals
