Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in rehabilitation or related field.
• At least one year of experience in rehabilitation or employment services to individuals with disabilities.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to meet driving requirements for state business.

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or a closely related field.
• Certified Rehabilitation Counselor certification.
• Experience working as a Vocational Rehabilitation counselor.
• Experience working in or with the Division of Developmental Disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance, training, and guidance to Vocational Rehabilitation staff and Division of Developmental Disabilities staff regarding employment services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Participate in public relations and outreach concerning employment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Work as part of a team to develop and implement programs, policies, and best practices to enhance employment services.
• Track, report, and analyze data related to employment services and outcomes for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Establish, enhance, and maintain agreements with Vocational Rehabilitation, Division of Developmental Disabilities, and local educational programs.
