The Developmental Assistant 1 position involves supervising Direct Support Assistants and other direct care staff in the care, treatment, and habilitation of individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. The role includes determining staff assignments, maintaining time and attendance records, completing performance evaluations, and training staff in the implementation and documentation of services. Additionally, the position requires participation in the development of individual habilitation plans, managing household inventories, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. The Developmental Assistant 1 also manages individuals' funds, provides transportation, and responds to crisis situations and medical emergencies.
