Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Developmental Adaptive Physical Education Teacher (DAPE) for the 2026-2027 school year in the Forest Lake, MN area. We’re seeking passionate and collaborative professionals who are excited to make a meaningful impact in the school-based setting.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Physical Education or related field
- Active Minnesota DAPE certification through the PELSB
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide Developmental Adapted Physical Education services in the school setting
- Create inclusive and interactive lessons and activities for students
- Implement IEP goals and therapy plans
- Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills
- Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
