The Development Project Accountant supports full‑cycle subcontract and job cost accounting across multiple construction projects. This role manages pay applications, vendor invoices, bank reconciliations, job‑cost reviews, journal entries, tax filings, and monthly financial reporting. Works closely with project managers to ensure accurate costing and timely reporting. Our Development Project Accountant: Maintain accurate job costing and perform routine reconciliations. Manage cash balances, payments, and bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly financials, over/under billing schedules, and tax returns. Support audits, financial draws, and vendor documentation. May provide assistance on compliance related activities including various tax filing preparation and cost report preparation. Perform general Fixed Asset Management as needed. Support any month-end close, including carrying out all professional accounting activities. Prepares materials for internal and external audiences, including reports, worksheets, analyses, documentation and other supporting schedules for auditors, tax returns, regulatory agencies; prepares detailed findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
