About The Position

Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced Development Program Manager to lead a critical product development contract for an advanced RF product at the Chelmsford, MA facility. This role involves managing technical, schedule, and cost performance of the engineering development contract, ensuring the program meets all critical milestones and achieves Design-to-cost targets. The Development Program Manager will serve as the primary interface with Lockheed Martin management and external customers, overseeing all development activities from contract award through qualification completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
  • Demonstrated track record of planning and driving program execution.
  • Experience leading teams, managing resources, and executing to meet objectives.
  • Strong communication and presentation experience; ability to effectively communicate across multiple organizational levels, internal and external customers.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as Cost Account Management (CAM) and Earned Value Management System (EVMS).

Responsibilities

  • Manage the execution of technical, schedule, and cost performance of an engineering development contract.
  • Plan, coordinate, execute, and report results for all development activities associated with the design.
  • Serve as the primary interface with Lockheed Martin management and external customers.
  • Manage all cost and schedule for Earned Value Management performance.
  • Ensure the program achieves all critical program milestones.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve Design-to-cost targets of the end product.
  • Position the product to successfully achieve transition-to-production goals post-qualification.
