Emp Status Regular Full time Work Shift Compensation Range The base pay scale for this position is $48,500.00 - $74,375.00. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. What you will be doing

Requirements

  • One to three years of experience with processing database records preferred.
  • Raiser’s Edge or fundraising database experience highly desirable
  • Participates in training and informational sessions on best practices for gift and record procedures
  • Well organized, meticulously detail-oriented, and resourceful self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Technologically savvy. Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite and comfortable working in database systems
  • Fast and accurate keyboarding skills
  • Ability to learn complex data entry codes and procedures quickly
  • Strong interpersonal skills; success at cultivating strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and creating partnerships
  • Smart, reliable and unquestionable personal integrity
  • Confidence and commitment, with the drive and energy to respond to the demands of the institution and work collaboratively to achieve results
  • Ability to anticipate needs, see opportunities and use good judgment in dealing with confidential information

Responsibilities

  • Maintains overall database integrity, with emphasis on demographic management (data entry, data clean-up, returned mail, address corrections, duplicate resolution, etc.)
  • Processes all contributions in Raiser's Edge 7/NXT, including high-volume gift entry via Omatic.
  • Verifies biographical information and creates new records as required
  • Produces acknowledgment letters and tax documentation for contributions to the Foundation using MS Word and MS Excel mail merge. Also responsible for proofing letters in a timely and accurate fashion to adhere to Foundation’s 48-hour turnaround acknowledgment policy
  • Maintains efficient and comprehensive files of all gifts, supporting documentation and acknowledgments
  • Generates and distributes contribution reports
  • Completes database projects and other development projects as assigned
  • Consistently meets expectations set by Development Operations on an ongoing basis while maintaining high levels of customer service and accuracy
  • Participates in training and informational sessions on best practices for gift and record procedures
