About The Position
At Houston Methodist, the Development Officer position is responsible for managing a portfolio of donors, with the primary focus on building the major gifts pipeline through qualification, cultivation and solicitation. This Development Officer position will work with Houston Methodist West Hospital to advance the hospital's strategic objectives and initiatives through philanthropic support. This position collaborates with Foundation colleagues and Houston Methodist leaders to elevate philanthropy by qualifying prospective donors and moving them to a major gift solicitation. The Development Officer is accountable to specific annual metrics focused on qualification, cultivation and solicitation of current and prospective donors. This hybrid position will office out of Houston Methodist West Hospital.
