About The Position

Are you excited by cutting-edge technology that pushes industry boundaries? Join our Wafer Process Development team, where you'll help advance the areal density of Seagate recording heads. Our mission is to develop innovative processes for state-of-the-art recording technologies, spanning all disciplines used in semiconductor wafer processing within a cleanroom environment.About the role - you will: · Support and maintain processes for our latest designs during off-shift hours. · Gain exposure to a broad range of cleanroom technologies, with opportunities to develop expertise in areas such as deposition, etch, chemical mechanical polishing (CMP), and photolithography. · Apply problem-solving techniques to address operational issues, optimize wafer flows, and reduce cycle time and scrap. · Collaborate with a team of experienced engineers and specialists from diverse technical backgrounds. · Investigate root causes of process failures, coordinate experiments, and perform in-depth data analysis. · Engage in hands-on troubleshooting and resolution of process issues with frequent presence on the factory floor.

Requirements

  • Willing and able to work in a cleanroom environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across shifts with a diverse team of engineers and specialists.
  • Available to work a 12-hour off-shift schedule, alternating weekly between 3 days on/4 days off and 4 days on/3 days off. Shift hours are Thursday–Sunday, 3:30 PM to 3:30 AM.
  • Self-motivated and independent, with a strong work ethic.
  • Quick learner who can adapt to the fast-paced nature of development programs.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication of results and issues.
  • Team-oriented, with the ability to work across shifts and departments.
  • Detail-oriented with strong execution skills.
  • Eager to grow and develop professionally for long-term career advancement
  • Strong data analysis and critical thinking skills
  • Exposure to semiconductor processes such as lithography, etch, plating, film deposition or metrology.
  • Familiarity with coding or scripting for data analysis and automation
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, Physics or related field
