About The Position
Come join Lotus Bloom as our Development Manager in East Oakland! We are looking for someone who is passionate about bringing early childhood education to traditionally underserved communities throughout Oakland through a variety of daily activities geared at promoting healthy outcomes for both the child and their family to join the Lotus Bloom team. The Development Manager is responsible for cultivating mission-aligned funding, building successful partnerships, and effectively communicating our mission and activities across diverse audiences via social media platforms, newsletters, emails, and in-person. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Development Manager is responsible for fundraising, grant writing and grant management, individual giving, communications (internal and external), operationalizing and maintaining the Salesforce donor database, and instituting and managing a fund development calendar, and building a base of financial support by communicating Lotus Bloom’s mission and impact to external stakeholders. This position will supervise one staff member, Data & Marketing Specialist.
