The Development Intern will support Campaign Legal Center’s (CLC) development team in the summer of 2026, a critical time for advancing and protecting our nation's democracy. This internship will provide an exciting opportunity to learn about fundraising for a nonpartisan nonprofit in the leadup to an extremely charged election season. Throughout the internship, the intern will conduct research on prospective donors, provide event support, draft materials and assist the team with administrative and data-entry tasks. They will engage with all members of the development team to learn about general fundraising principles and practices of a high-impact, effective development program. This position will report to the Sr Manager of Data & Analytics. Given CLC's range of expertise in litigation and policy work, as well as marketing and communications, there will be a range of opportunities for professional development across departments as time allows. This paid internship will be part-time (15-20 hours/week) for three to four months over the summer of 2026. There may be an opportunity for the internship to extend into the fall, depending on departmental needs. It is preferred that the intern work in person in CLC's downtown DC office 1-2 days per week (Tuesday/Friday preferred), but we are happy to offer flexible scheduling in alignment with a candidate’s class schedule or other obligations. This part-time position is not benefits eligible. Please apply with your resume and a cover letter.
