Its programs offer participants transformation through therapeutic services, education, life skills, and professional development. We are a Christian faith-based, non-profit organization with a rich and evolving culture seeking an Admissions Coordinator to assist with the Women's Residential Program. Position Summary: The Development Intern will gain hands-on experience in various facets of the nonprofit sector, with a focus on fundraising, events, communications, and donor relations. This internship offers the opportunity to collaborate with team members on key projects while building a strong understanding of nonprofit operations.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing/recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, social work, business, or a related field
  • Strong interest in learning about the nonprofit sector and passion for Wellspring Living’s mission
  • Proficiency in Google Drive, Canva, and other relevant tools
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Experience with data entry and database management
  • Self-starter with excellent time management skills
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong research and analytical abilities
  • Reliable transportation required (intern may be expected to travel between different locations)

Responsibilities

  • Support event registration and assist with logistics for Wellspring Living’s annual events during the internship term
  • Contribute to event planning, execution, and post-event follow-up for three annual events
  • Design event collateral using Canva and assist with event promotion
  • Aid in the development of the Young Professionals program, including researching potential members
  • Research and identify corporate sponsorship opportunities
  • Assist with coordinating third-party events across Atlanta to support Wellspring Living’s mission
  • Assist the Development Coordinator with donation acknowledgment letters and mailing
  • Support the tracking and reporting of in-kind donations through Purposity
  • Maintain and update donor records in Salesforce
