About The Position

As a Development Intern, you will assist our Development department in creating, testing, and maintaining our solutions.. You will gain practical experience in the software development process and its tools, AI, and how to work in and with a larger software organization.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong attention to details.
Ability to think critically and solve technical problems efficiently.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Excellent documentation skills.
A working knowledge of Java.
Knowledge of object-oriented design and development.
Unit test experience with JUnit or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Experience with modern AI concepts, especially agentive AI is a plus
Experience with Apache Tomcat, J2EE Application Servers and transactional databases is a plus.
Integration with external devices, networking and/or controls is a strong plus.
Understanding of Image Processing (Theory, algorithms, etc).
Knowledge of or interest in machine learning algorithms.
Ability to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the development and testing of software applications using Python, Java and object-oriented design principles, likely with a bent towards Artificial Intelligence..
Support integration with external systems, devices, and networking components.
Contribute to unit testing using JUnit or similar frameworks to ensure software quality.
Collaborate with the team to document technical specifications and development processes.
Research and explore new technologies, including machine learning and image processing techniques.
Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities alongside senior engineers.
