About The Position
Teledyne Controls, LLC is seeking a Junior Development Engineer to work on our various embedded systems and custom applications for airlines and aircraft. You will work side-by-side with senior software engineers developing and testing software for use on commercial aircraft for wireless devices, networking, and data acquisition management systems. You will learn a variety of avionics communication protocols that are used across our products, including aircraft data acquisition, wireless data transfer, and networked systems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing custom applications running on top of customized operating systems and bootloaders. You will also debug and troubleshoot various avionic applications, test tools, and embedded systems. Additionally, you will modify, develop, and test software programs for user applications using programming languages such as C/C++/C#, and scripting languages like Python, shell, and bash, in Real-Time OS, Linux, or Windows environments. You will set up lab tests, manage software configurations, and develop software test requirements and test procedures. This position will expose you to a wide variety of software debugging and troubleshooting, code implementations, and updates with various programming technologies.
